Victoria

Meet Victoria Marcheva - a Founder of Do Re Mi Studio of Arts.
Victoria was born in 1992 in Bolhrad, Ukraine. From a very early age, Victoria began studying piano, singing, and music theory at the Bolhrad Music School. While attending Bolhrad High School "Georgi Sava Rakovski", she performed as a soloist in the vocal ensemble Zdravets.
In 2010, she began her studies at the National Music Academy "Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia, where she graduated with a degree in Classical Singing and later obtained a Master's degree in Vocal Pedagogy.
Since 2015 Victoria has been living and working in Cyprus as a teacher of vocal performance, piano, and early childhood music education. As a vocalist, Victoria participated in numerous events in Cyprus and abroad, including performances with the chamber choir Polyphonia under the artistic direction of Maro Skordi and took a part in the production of the first Cypriot opera film, Birth of the Goddess Aphrodite, composed by Polyvios Charalambous, which is expected to be released in late 2026.
In 2023, together with her husband Andreas Charalambous, Victoria founded the performing arts school Do Re Mi Studio of Arts in Nicosia. The school currently operates two branches, located in Strovolos and Agrokipia, both within the Nicosia District.
From 2018, Victoria has been running the children's choir at the Bulgarian School "Nikola Vaptsarov" in Nicosia. One of the most significant recent events Victoria has organised was the invitation of the Greek composer Christos Nikolopoulos and the vocalist Melina Aslanidou to perform at the largest theatre in Nicosia as part of the school's ongoing cultural collaboration.
In 2025, Victoria performed several times as a vocalist together with guitarist Eleni Diraki in the chamber recital Music for a While in Limassol and Nicosia, with more concerts planned in the future.
Currently teaching classical piano, contemporary singing, and classical vocal technique, early childhood music education and professional coaching - preparing artists of all ages for professional performance. Victoria's lessons are available in Greek, Russian, English, Ukrainian, and Bulgarian.
